“Andy and I knew each other before we started going out, but we hadn't seen each other for about a year.
We met again when we our mutual friend was heading off to university. At her leaving do, she typically arrived late, leaving me and Andy to have a few drinks and a chat.
Andy was working at the bar we were at, and was keen to impress me with good drinks and his friends behind the bar looking after us.
Our first kiss was later that night and we've been together ever since.
I don't think either of us thought that we had found our life partner that night, yet from early on, we both knew we had met an incredible person.
We were young when we got together and, importantly, we have grown together - never wanting to stifle or compromise who we are as individuals or as a couple, always having fun and wanting to be together.
I never thought we'd get married, yet it means the world to me that we took that next step.
We married ten years after getting together. Our wedding represented our significant history and what we wanted our future to be.”
